In 2017, Matt Martians of R&B quintet The Internet revealed that within his production vault was a collaborative project with Steve Lacy, GoldLink and the increasingly seldom seen André 3000.
Two years and several teasers later a studio recording has surfaced, albeit in an unofficial capacity. ‘Love 3rd’ sees the two rappers chop it up at double time speed over a succinct two minutes of funk-ridden production that centres around an infectious, syncopated groove.
