Freddie Gibbs and Madlib reunite for Flat Tummy Tea

Reportedly lifted from the duo’s long-awaited sophomore effort Bandana.

Freddie Gibbs and Madlib

In 2014 Freddie Gibbs and Madlib united to release Piñata, a dusty, jazz-flecked and street savvy collaborative album that was unanimously considered to be one of the best hip-hop efforts of the year.

Now, following several years of speculation the Indiana rapper and lauded producer have reconvened to share a new single.

‘Flat Tummy Tea’ is reportedly lifted from the duo’s long-awaited sophomore album Bandana and sees a succinct return to form as Gibbs’ potent and cinematic wordplay is placed against a sample-heavy backdrop of tripped out fuzz guitar and neck snapping drums.
