The reinterpretation of Hosono’s seminal 1973 album Hosono House arrives in March.

Japanese musician Haruomi Hosono has announced plans to release a reinterpreted edition of his influential 1973 album Hosono House.
Entitled Hochono House, the reimagined album releases on March 6th as part of the singer-songwriter’s celebrations that surround the 50th anniversary of his major label debut as part of psychedelic rock group Apryl Fool.

In addition to the release of new music, the Yellow Magic Orchestra member has announced a US tour itinerary with scheduled performances at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City and the Mayan in Los Angeles on May 29th and June 3rd respectively. Tickets for both dates go on sale at 10am local time on February 8th.
Last year saw Seattle-based record label Light In The Attic unveil a reissue series that spanned the formative albums of Hosono’s genre traversing solo career.
