In contrast to its 2015 predecessor, Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared? trades out immediate gratification for a body of work that requires a more thoughtful and immersive listening experience as compositions of Summery psychedelia are juxtaposed against lyrical ruminations of existential dread.
