As the release of Peter Sagar’s fourth LP under the Homeshake moniker draws closer, the multi-instrumentalist has shared the third preview of Helium.
Following the previously released ‘Like Mariah’ and ‘Nothing Could Be Better’, ‘Just Like My’ presents Sagar further exercising his aptitude for soulful and funk-laden compositional ideas. Drums snap and a bassline wriggles whilst pads courtesy of Roland’s famed Juno 60 provide a blanket of warmth reflective of the state of solitude that Sagar’s Montreal home provides him and he addresses in the single’s subject matter.
