London’s Fat White Family have shared a mysterious new video that alludes to the imminent release of new material.

The clip reveals frontman Lias Saoudi carrying a golden throne to the top of a muddy hill amid stormy weather conditions before looking down over the lands below the climb’s peak.

Whilst the meaning behind the visual is initially unclear, the words “Serfs Up” and “Coming Soon” are displayed on-screen alongside the logo of British independent label Domino Records as the video finishes suggesting that something new has materialised from the band. In the hours since the visual originally surfaced, its director Niall Trask has confirmed that a new LP from Fat White Family will arrive in 2019.

Fat White Family’s last album, Songs For Our Mothers arrived in 2016. In the years since the release of their sophomore LP, Fat White members Saoudi and Saul Adamczewski have realigned their focuses to releasing music with Insecure Men, Warmduscher and The Moonlandingz.
