Peter Sagar has announced plans to release his fourth album under the Homeshake moniker.
Helium arrives via Omnian Music Group imprint Sinderlyn on February 15th and marks the follow-up to Sagar’s acclaimed 2017 album Fresh Air.
Recorded between April and June of this year in the comfort of Sagar’s Montreal home, the material which forms Helium was inspired by the work of Japanese author Haruki Murakami, an ever-growing interest in ambient music and the utilisation of Roland’s famed Juno 60. Preceding the LP is its ruminative and synth-laden lead single ‘Like Mariah’.
