The fourth incarnation of the subscription service arrives in 2019.

Seattle’s legendary Sub Pop Records have announced the return of Sub Pop Singles Club.
The fourth incarnation of the label’s vinyl subscription service will be composed of twelve 7″ singles and is set to begin shipping in April 2019, with prices starting at $130 for U.S. subscribers.
In Sub Pop’s official statement they said the following,
“Are you desperate to hear new and exciting music? Do you pine for exquisitely packaged, colored-vinyl artifacts? Do you break into a sweat at the thought of missing out on limited-edition tchotchkes to hold over your friends’ heads? Well, subscribe now and feed your need!”
The mail order service’s initial run between 1988 and 1993 featured exclusive music from the likes of Nirvana, Fugazi and South Youth, whilst the second and third incarnations that followed in the mid 00’s featured Death Cab For Cutie, The Get Up Kids, Oh Sees, Bright Eyes and more.
Artists currently signed with Sub Pop include Beach House, clipping., Frankie Cosmos, Goat, J Mascis, Low, Morgan Delt, Pissed Jeans, Shabazz Palaces and Sleater-Kinney to name a few. Other notable past signees not previously mentioned include Built To Spill, Deerhunter, Dinosaur Jr, Foals, Modest Mouse and The Postal Service.
