The long-awaited collaboration has birthed a cover of Steve Monite’s ‘Only You’.

For several weeks Theophilus London has been teasing a forthcoming collaboration with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker dubbed TheoImpala, and now new music from the duo has arrived.
After premiering material during a live performance at West Hollywood’s Peppermint Club earlier in October, London and Parker debuted two studio recordings during Virgil Abloh’s Beats 1 radio show last night. The first was a single entitled ‘Whiplash’, followed by a cover of Nigerian musician Steve Monite’s timeless 1984 boogie cut ‘Only You’. Listen to a radio rip of the latter here whilst we await a formal release of the studio recordings.
London has confirmed that the collaborative tracks with Parker will appear on his forthcoming album Bebey. Also featuring on the LP are his 2016 collaboration with Ariel Pink and an as yet unreleased collaboration with Sheck Wes and Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon entitled ‘WuTang Flow’.
