The album opener from Mockasin’s forthcoming Jassbusters is a nine minute exploration of 70s soft rock.

New Zealand ex-pat Connan Mockasin recently announced the release of his long-awaited third album. Jassbusters is set to arrive on October 12th via Mexican Summer and accompanies the release of the first instalment in a five-part film project entitled Bostyn ’n Dobsyn. After previously previewing the album’s first single ‘Con Conn Was Impatient’, Mockasin now returns with the opening track from Jassbusters.
‘Charlotte’s Thong’ is a nine minute long excursion in to the realms of 70s soft rock and Mockasin’s calling card; unequivocal sensuality.

Next month Mockasin will begin an international tour dubbed ‘Connan Mockasin presents Bostyn ’n Dobsyn with Jassbusters’, which includes an intimate in-store performance at London’s Rough Trade East in Shoreditch. Find his full itinerary here.
