The single’s accompanying music video features Mac DeMarco, Dev Hynes, Tyler, The Creator and more.

After a year spent honing their individual chops with a series of acclaimed solo releases, The Internet have made their long-awaited return to the public eye.
In new single ‘Roll! (Burbank Funk)’, guitarist Steve Lacy assumes lead vocal duties over a dialled up BPM, creating an undeniable foot mover. The accompanying music video sees the band decked out in argyle, plaid, shell suits and all matter of things vintage whilst a slew of their contemporaries including Mac DeMarco, Dev Hynes and Tyler, The Creator drop by to get lost in the groove.
In his recent interview with Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio, Lacy said of the band’s new music:
“It’s exciting, it’s scary, it’s so many things. And really I’m just thinking about the change component. Because I know off of Ego Death to where I am now it’s been a dramatic shift. It’s not the same as it was when that came out. I feel like this is on a higher echelon than Ego Death. I love Ego Death, that was a great record, but I know this one is a step up.”
