Singer-songwriter Ravyn Lenae has shared her music video for ‘4 Leaf Clover’, the new single taken from the Chicago native’s recently released and Steve Lacy produced Crush EP.
Sonically ‘4 Leaf Clover’ sees Lacy’s P-funk nodding guitars traded out for sparse, airy electronics whilst lyrically, the song touches base on matters of the heart, a topic that recurs thematically throughout the EP. Similarly, the music video depicts Lenae enduring the games, trials and tribulations of young love as she yearns for the boy next door. Imagine Grease filtered through a Wes Anderson approved colour palette.
