Smokin’ Grooves Festival brings Erykah Badu, Miguel, NxWorries & more to Long Beach’s waterfront

The inaugural event will see R&B heavyweights perform aboard a retired ocean liner.

A new R&B focused festival will make its debut at Long Beach’s Queen Mary on June 16th. The one-day event that comes courtesy of the brains behind Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival and FYF Fest will see a host of artists perform aboard a retired ocean liner. Occupying headline slots for the inaugural event are Erykah Badu, Miguel and Jhene Aiko.

Other notable performers include Busta Rhymes who plays alongside neo-soul heavyweights The Roots, as well as Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge who will perform a set featuring songs from their 2016 collaborative album as NxWorries.

Elsewhere, the festival will see performances from Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def, Ravyn Lenae, Thundercat, Omarion, Madlib and more. Find more information at the Smokin’ Grooves official website.
