Featuring a headline set from Smith where he promises to be joined by ‘four curious friends’.
Last month, London’s Meltdown turned heads when they unveiled the first wave of acts performing at the 2018 iteration of their annual festival, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year with a curation by The Cure’s Robert Smith.

My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, Placebo, Mogwai, 65daysofstatic and Deftones were all among the acts included in the festival’s initial announcement, forming what is arguably one of the festival’s most impressive lineups to date. For fans of the abstract and gloriously morose, could it get any better?
The answer is yes. In the early hours of Wednesday Meltdown announced a plethora of acts joining the previously announced lineup, including none other than Smith himself who will close out the festival’s proceedings. In his two hour long set dubbed “CURÆTION-25”, Smith promises to be accompanied by ‘four curious friends’.

In addition to The Cure frontman’s set, Death Cab For Cutie, Frightened Rabbit, God Is An Astronaut, Low, Maybeshewill, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Fear Of Men, Drahla, I Like Trains, Loop, Moon Duo, pg. lost and many more were announced to join the existing lineup performing between June 15th-24th.
