His first full-length project since 2015’s The Epic will arrive courtesy of Young Turks.
LA saxophonist Kamasi Washington has announced a new double album entitled Heaven And Earth.
Discussing the themes behind the album title, Washington said,
“The Earth side represents the world as I see it outwardly, the world that I am a part of. The Heaven side represents the world as I see it inwardly, the world that is a part of me.”
Heaven and Earth will follow Washington’s 2017 EP Harmony Of Difference. It will be his first full-length LP since 2015’s The Epic, in addition to being his first release through London-based indie label Young Turks where he joins a roster that includes FKA Twigs, The XX, Sampha, John Talabot and more.

Heaven And Earth releases on June 22nd via Young Turks.
