Addendum will feature in a previously announced career-spanning boxset.
John Maus has shared a new single entitled ‘Episodes’ that will feature on Addendum, the musician’s previously announced fifth album and follow-up to Screen Memories.
Whilst originally set to be exclusively included as part of a career-spanning vinyl box set (which has long since sold out), the new album will now also see a standalone CD and digital release on May 18th courtesy of Ribbon Music.
The twelve tracks contained within Maus’ new release were composed predominantly using self built modular synthesizers and recorded in the same sessions as 2017’s Screen Memories.
New cut ‘Episode’ encompasses everything that one has grown to expect of the musical outsider and Haunted Graffiti alumni; glistening synths, motorik drums and vocals that switch from hushed tones to ominous shrieks before the dust ever finds the chance to settle. Listen below.
