Still Woozy is the home recorded project of Oakland, California based musician Sven Gamsky that came to fruition when his previous band Feed Me Jack wound down. Sonically, Still Woozy boasts an effortless blend of acoustic and electronic sounds as well as clear technical proficiency, though in a considerably more understated manor than his previous project.
Returning with a new single entitled ‘Lucy’ that features a lending hand from Toronto based producer Odie, Gamsky continues the lineage carved by his slew of well received 2017 singles. Singing with an easy on the ears lilt, the Californian continues to move between talking about the every day occurrences of life in love such as burning dinner or guarding the bedroom door for your significant other after watching a scary flick in a relatable and matter-of-fact way to more obscured terms that are less simple to decipher. The lyrical juxtaposition suitably mirrors the music which at once feels smooth yet glitchy.
