As well as a barefoot performance of the lead single from his new album on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Friday night saw David Byrne take to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote his recently released album with a performance of lead single ‘Everybody’s Coming To My House’. The track was performed barefoot alongside a band wearing matching grey suits and featuring choreography that included Colbert himself.
Elsewhere in the episode Byrne featured in a skit advertisement for his own “Giant Suit Emporium” and for clarity purposes before you watch, the emporium is giant, not the suits.

American Utopia officially released on March 9th through Byrne’s Dodo Mundo label. He is currently touring to promote the LP which will continue through the year with billed supports across the globe including Tune-Yards, Perfume Genius and more.
