Southern California crooner Michael Seyer has shared his sophomore effort Bad Bonez in full following two previously heard singles from the LP that released in February.

Written/recorded primarily at the musician’s home and taking cues from the likes of Peter Sagar’s Homeshake project, the album balances airy, sparse instrumentation with an atmosphere and lyricism that could only be created by somebody who is at work in the place that they feel safest within.

Save for the brief introduction of a saxophone in ‘Waiting For You’, the thirteen track release features minimal trimmings. With each song comprising simply of an electric piano, synthesizer or chorus laden guitars above bass guitar and a distant blend of acoustic and electronic drums, the instrumentation allows the listener to avert their attention to the musings of a 22 year old mind that is emotionally engaged and wise beyond its years.
