Today the ever-elusive Black Moth Super Rainbow announced that they will return to the public eye on May 4th with a new album entitled Panic Blooms. Releasing courtesy of Rad Cult, the LP marks the band’s first full length affair since 2012’s Cobra Juicy.

Preceding the album is ‘Mr. No One’. The single, in typical Black Moth Super Rainbow styling, is all voodoo, vocoder and enveloping synthesizers employed to explore the dizzying depths of psychedelia. The distinctive difference from the likes of Cobra Juicy of Dandelion Gum however, is the sparse and pensive feel. Releasing as a 7″ single on March 16th, the flip side will feature two collaborations between frontman Tobacco and Ariel Pink.

In support of Panic Blooms, the band will tour across North America throughout Summer. See their itinerary to date below.
